About Otis

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Otis is currently in Troncones, Mexico and his journey is truly inspiring. Abandoned as a pup with a broken leg on a Buena Vista beach, Otis has faced enormous challenges. Caring people helped him heal, but he found himself with nowhere permanent until someone kind rescued him again, this time thin and scared, after a year wandering the streets of Pantla. Safe at last, Otis has blossomed into a two-year-old bundle of energy who adores running, playing, and swimming at the beach. Sociable and affectionate, Otis enjoys the company of people and dogs, always up for cuddles and eager to make friends. Sometimes he can be easily distracted, but when focused, his determination shines. He’s a quick learner but appreciates gentle patience while he works on leash skills and building confidence, especially around raised voices or sudden gestures, likely due to past hardships. Otis may not be the best match for homes with unfriendly cats, but he is always eager to please and ready for a family who will help him reach his full potential. If you’re seeking a loyal, energetic companion with a heart full of love, Otis could be the perfect new buddy for your family. And as a fun bonus, with a birthday of March 1st, he’s a compassionate Pisces – just one more reason he’s so loving! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
