About Osa
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Currently located in Guerrero, Mexico, Osa is a delightful black mixed-breed girl whose name means "bear" in Spanish—a fitting title for a pup with soft, silky fur, gentle eyes, and the heart of a playful cub! Rescued by a caring woman after being found hungry and limping alone, Osa has truly blossomed since arriving at the shelter. She now enjoys security, daily meals, and the loving company of other dogs, turning her once-blurry days into joyful romps with her best pals. Despite her rough start, Osa’s leg has healed, and she zips about with her friends in pure happiness, sometimes a bit too enthusiastically, but she's always eager to learn proper pup manners. Osa is exceptionally friendly and adores attention from people. She’s happiest soaking up pets and chin rubs, only wandering off when a toy gets her attention. With an active, affectionate spirit, she’ll thrive with an adopter who can help guide her to become the best companion possible. Walks, play dates, or lots of family fun will keep her tail wagging, and while she’d enjoy another dog at home, it’s not required as long as she gets plenty of exercise. Toys—especially ropes—bring her endless joy! Born November 4th, Osa is a spirited Scorpio, meaning she’s passionate, loyal, and ready for new adventures. Osa is excited to find her forever family and start a new chapter filled with play, snuggles, and love. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
