Found alone in the mud, unable to move his back legs after an accident or abandonment, Camilo never lost his tail wag—he remained hopeful, greeting everyone with enthusiasm even during the hardest days. Thanks to caring people, he got his first wheelchair and embraced a newfound freedom, dashing about and enjoying every minute outdoors, especially on his therapy beach outings. At just over four years old, Camilo is sweet, social, and loves meeting people. He thrives with attention and craves inclusion after spending days alone in a small corral. Visits are the highlight of his day—he welcomes everyone with cuddles and his trademark goofy smile. Around other dogs, he gets excited and prefers calm, confident companions with structured introductions. Due to his paralysis, Camilo doesn't have bladder or bowel control. He’s used to diapers for car rides or vet visits, and can live in them comfortably with routine changes and a regular schedule. He needs a patient and loving owner willing to learn with him and help manage his needs. Camilo has endured much, never losing his cheerful spirit or will to push forward.
