About Fospice Birdie
Birdie is an eight-year-old English Pointer who spent her earlier years as a breeding dog before finding safety and care with her rescue. When her days as a breeder ended, she was surrendered but quickly showed her gentle nature in her foster home. Birdie adores tennis balls, soaking up the summer sun, and strolls in good weather—she’s never been a fan of winter’s chill. Recently, Birdie was diagnosed with inoperable mammary tumors, and now she is cherished in her permanent fospice placement, getting constant love and good care. Though not available for adoption, Birdie continues to brighten days with her calm spirit and playful side, especially around children, cats, and other dogs. Rest assured, she will spend her time surrounded by comfort and kindness. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
