Birdie is an 8-year-old English Pointer located in Kansas, who has spent much of her life dedicated to motherhood before finding comfort and care at PointerRescue Org. Since joining her foster family in September 2022, Birdie has discovered a love for tennis balls, leisurely walks, and sunbathing in her yard—though she's not fond of chilly weather, soaking up the summer rays brings her endless joy. Recently diagnosed with untreatable mammary tumors, Birdie is now part of a forever foster care program known as fospice, where she will spend her remaining days surrounded by love and attentive care in her foster home. Despite her diagnosis, Birdie continues to receive all the attention and compassion she needs, ensuring her comfort and happiness during her time in fospice.
