About Rosalie
If you are interested in any of the dogs available at New Leash Rescue, you can reach out to the foster listed below for more information and then complete an adoption application which can be found at https://www.newleashrescue.org/adopt/policy. Please email the completed application to newleashrescue2018@gmail.com Rosalie is eight months old and ready to find her forever home. Her mom and siblings came from Mexico where they were not treated well as tiny babies. Their mom is about wire haired terrier and the rest of the siblings all have that wire hair too and some definitely look to have some pug characteristics. Any breed listed is purely best estimate based off appearances. Their mom is about 20lbs and we do not know anything about the dad. Rosalie can be shy at first but does well once she has some time to warm up. She has so much spunk and character and takes on each day with zest! She loves to run and play with other dogs and can play a bit rough at times. She loves a game of chase and then a quick dip in the kiddie pool. She will need a housetraining refresher when she moves to a new place. These puppies are little watchdogs and bark at anything they see or hear at times, so not recommended for any apartments nor shared walls. Please email below to find out if Rosalie will be attending an upcoming adoption event. Adoption fee is $550.00 + tax (no checks) Email to contact for more information: newleashrescue2018@gmail.com Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
