About Bella Vita

Bella Vita has been through more than most, but she hasn’t lost her gentle core or love for people. In her last home, she was neglected, left to fend for herself, and forced to have litter after litter. Tulsa Animal Welfare intervened just in time after her final litter—sadly, her puppies did not survive. She fought through severe mastitis, and with support from Mercy, got a second chance at life. Bella Vita thrives with strong, friendly male dogs and would love a home with one or two as companions. She isn’t keen on female dogs, and she does not get along with cats. Kids are fine by her, but she needs to be fed separately—after so long without, she’s still protective of her meals. New people will find her shy, but let her warm up and she’ll become your loyal shadow. She’s non-destructive, completely house trained, and has great recall plus basic obedience skills. Her short coat is a lovely blend of fawn and white, and she’s been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Loud noises still make her anxious, so a family who’ll offer comfort during storms and fireworks is best. Bella Vita’s ready for a gentle, loving owner—ideally a male or a couple—who can offer her the safe, cherished life she’s never had. Ready to make a real difference?
