About Pearl
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? A fenced-in yard is required for Pearl, as her safety and comfort depend on it. Pearl will be spayed in mid-October and will be ready for her forever home shortly after. Applications are being accepted, and you can expect to be contacted the week of the 20th. Pearl is a very nervous girl who needs a quiet environment and patient adopters. She must be carried outdoors or leashed at all times to ensure she stays safe. As a breeder release, Pearl spent most of her life with little positive human interaction, so she is understandably fearful of people. While she craves affection and will let you hold her, she tends to run away when approached and does not come willingly. Pearl is partially potty trained and does well in a crate, but she could use some additional work in this area. She would thrive with a confident canine companion who could help guide her as she becomes more comfortable in her new environment. Fun fact: Pearl was born on October 9, making her a Libra, which means she may find balance and harmony in a caring, patient home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Pearl
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Maltese/Poodle mixes, often called Maltipoos, typically do well in quiet, stable environments where they can feel safe. They adapt nicely to apartments or houses, especially when there is a calm and patient atmosphere.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Maltese/Poodle mixes do not require extensive outdoor space but benefit from a secure, fenced yard or regular leash walks. They enjoy playtime outside, but their small size means they get enough exercise in modest spaces.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Maltese/Poodle mixes can be good with gentle, respectful children. Because they are small and sometimes timid, supervision and teaching children to handle them gently is important.
