About Ross
Click apply to start the adoption process. Foster or forever home wanted—meet Ross! Ross arrived at the shelter as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed. As is unfortunately common for black dogs, he was overlooked for some time in the busy shelter environment. When his time was up, a plan was made to save this sweet, handsome boy from euthanasia, and he is currently in boarding, waiting for his chance at a foster home or forever family. Everyone who has met Ross speaks highly of him, describing him as affectionate, gentle, and grateful for any kindness. He is still being evaluated, but it’s already clear that his glowing reputation is well-deserved—plus, he’s absolutely gorgeous. His journey is just beginning with the rescue, and he’s ready to make someone’s home brighter. Ross is hoping to find a loving foster or permanent home where he can thrive. He is available for adoption through Labradors and Friends in Southern California. Your new best friend is just one click away.
