Jack is an adorable 4 year old Cairn Terrier mix who lived most of his life on a 3-foot chain outside in all types of weather. A wonderful animal control officer took him off the chain and brought him to Indigo's Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary. Once you've gained this boy's trust, he is so happy just to be in your presence. (Hint: slow introductions and high value treats are the key.) He loves to snuggle and get belly rubs and will sleep happily up against his person if he is allowed. Squeaky toys and gentle tug of war are some of his favorite things! He usually doesn't have any potty accidents in the house and walks on the lead wonderfully. He knows a few commands, like "come this way" or "no pull". This little fella is looking for a safe home with a fenced yard. He needs moderate exercise and some weekly brushing. Jack tends toward wanting his hoomans all to himself and may be happiest as the Only Dog in an adult home. He will make a wonderful and devoted friend!
