About Luc
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Say hello to Luc! Luc is a quiet, calm boy with a loving heart. This medium-sized Labrador Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog mix was found as a stray, but his house manners show he was once someone's cherished companion. He is affectionate, enjoys lap time, and lights up when given attention. Luc keeps his space tidy, never marks, and when he jumps up to greet you, it's always gentle—perhaps a sign he's lived with children before. He doesn't resource guard his food, and he's shown a friendly, easygoing attitude toward other dogs at the rescue, making him a great candidate for a home with another canine companion. Luc walks nicely on a leash and, with a bit more guidance, will quickly learn new manners. While he may be shy with strangers at first, with patience, he'll blossom into a trusting and loyal friend. Given his gentle nature and perfect size, Luc would make a wonderful family dog. Fun fact: With a birthdate of October 21, Luc is a Libra—a sign known for its friendly and affectionate qualities! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
