About Kale

Kale is a young mixed-breed dog with a soft spot for people. He came to Indigo's Rescue Ranch after being abandoned and later transferred from the county shelter so he could get some much-needed care. Since arriving, Kale has been sticking to a special diet and steadily shedding pounds, which has done wonders for his health and energy—he's now well on the mend. Despite a tough start, Kale has plenty of affection to give. He’s happiest sitting beside his favorite people. At the rescue, his best friend is a Cairn Terrier mix named Jack; the pair are pretty much inseparable, passing their days and evenings together. Kale gets along well with both dogs and children and just wants to feel included. You can expect a calm, friendly companion who appreciates a gentle environment and a good hangout with the family.
