About Malibu
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Malibu arrived at the rescue after being surrendered as a tiny pup of just 5 weeks old, and he's grown up in loving care ever since. Naturally a bit timid, Malibu has always looked to his brothers for guidance and feels safest when he's around other dogs—he truly thrives in a canine pack. With a sharp mind, he picks up on doggy cues quickly, though his attention is usually on his four-legged friends rather than on people, so a home with an experienced dog parent is ideal. Malibu may be wary around new people at first, but once trust is earned, he blossoms into a sweet, active, and fun companion. True to his husky mix nature, he loves to be busy and will do best with plenty of exercise as well as mental challenges. Since he is quite large for his age and still growing, he gets along best with older children—he adores playtime but might accidentally bump into smaller kids. Being potty and dog door trained, Malibu is well on his way to great manners, though he sometimes leaks a little when extra excited, which he will likely outgrow. If you have another dog and an active household, Malibu will fit right in and reward you with his unique blend of playful spirit and gentle sweetness. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
