About Tiki

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Tiki, a delightful 4-year-old mixed breed with a playful spirit and an irresistibly fun personality! Tiki looks and acts like a unique blend—imagine a long-haired Pug mixed with an Eskimo Spitz, giving him the Pug’s endearing clownishness and a dash of Spitz sass. He's recently neutered, which is helping reduce his marking, and is both housebroken and crate trained. Tiki is great in the car, especially when traveling in his crate, and enjoys long-line walks. His energy level is medium—he enjoys intense play sessions and definitely benefits from a fenced yard where he can let loose, play tug-of-war, and romp with doggy pals. Tiki gets along well with other dogs and loves the company of his canine friends, but he is not suitable with cats, as he will give enthusiastic chase. During his first adoption event, Tiki was kind and gentle with children of all ages, though he can be mouthy when playing; he responds well to redirection and “no bite” commands. He startles at shadows, which may indicate some vision differences, so he’ll do best in a home with dog-savvy kids who give him personal space and aren’t likely to crowd him or move unpredictably. Tiki settles in beautifully with routine, patience, and loving structure, blossoming into a warm, funny, and loyal companion. With a little understanding and positive reinforcement, he is sure to be an incredible addition to the right home! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
