The appointment is included in the adoption fee at one of the clinics we use and the foster-to-adopt family will need to email GRR to request the appointment when puppy is 18-20 weeks at the clinic closest to them. (Options are Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Georgetown.) Keeping the appointment that's assigned by the clinic will be a condition of adoption. Foster to adopt families must live within one hour of DE and be willing to travel here for the pending appointment. Housebroken: Not 100%, but doing very well for a puppy! She always goes when she hits the grass but still has an accident in the house once in a while. She does not have accidents in her crate. Crate trained: Yes. She sleeps through the night from 9pm to 6am. She happily goes into her crate for a nap during the fay also. Good in car: Yes, she loves going on car rides but stays in her crate as she is so small and could get underfoot. Good on leash: She has not started her leash training yet. Energy level: Typical puppy energy (100% play or 100% napping) Need a fenced in yard: Not necessary, but would be beneficial for play time. Dog friendly: Yes, she has 2 resident dogs in her foster home and loves to play and interact with them. If yes, does your foster need another dog in it's adoptive home: No, but it would be beneficial as she is so social. Cat friendly: Unknown Kid Friendly: Yes, with appropriate supervision as a puppy can go through a nippy phase. If yes, what is the youngest child you would recommend they be placed with? Any age with appropriate supervision. Special traits: Sedona is a shy girl to start out with, but once she feels comfortable with you, she opens up and is super affectionate. She is extremely smart and trainable and is doing really well with her puppy training at her age. Sedona is quite food driven and is always looking for a treat which can be beneficial when training.
