About Robin Thebank
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Robin Thebank, a sweet mixed breed female dog of about 3-4 years old, currently with Grass Roots Rescue. Robin is the kind of companion who enjoys lounging and keeping to herself, acting more like a cat than a typical dog. She is fully housebroken if taken outside on a schedule and is crate trained, finding comfort in her crate as her safe haven. Robin loves the company of other dogs and would likely benefit from having a confident canine friend, though she does need slow introductions and time to adjust. Her energy level is quite low; she prefers relaxing in calm environments. Due to her cautious nature, fast movements and loud noises can startle her, so she would do best with children over 12, or very dog-savvy younger kids. Robin is terrified in cars and would much rather walk, so travel should be managed gently. She has a history that means she needs time to warm up, and her adopter should be patient and gentle, giving her the space she needs to trust and flourish. Robin is making progress on leash skills but requires a metal leash to prevent escapes—she’s quite the Houdini! If you’re looking for a gentle, low-energy dog who will quietly steal your heart, Robin could be the perfect match for you. She has moved on from her rough start and is ready to find a loving forever home that offers her the peaceful life she deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
