About Paige

Paige is a 10 to 11-month-old mixed breed who’s already proven to be resilient after early motherhood and a bit of a rough start. She’s come a long way, gaining weight, getting healthy, and easing into life as a family dog. Paige weighs in at around 15 lbs—easy to handle, even when she gets excited on walks or pulls on leash. She’s mostly housebroken as long as you let her out often, and settles down in her crate after a few minutes. Car rides are a work in progress, but crate her and she’ll stay put. She has that classic puppy energy but is just as happy burrowing into your lap for hours. Paige is fine with other dogs but doesn’t require a companion—she entertains herself with toys and loves a good chew stick. She’s being fostered with multiple cats and does well with them. Before rescue, she lived with kids and did fine; just keep in mind loud noises or sudden moves can spook her, so young children need supervision. Her only adoption condition is keeping her scheduled spay appointment in Dover (covered by the rescue), which means anyone interested should be local enough to get her there. Paige is ready to leave behind her past and step fully into the good life as someone’s beloved pet. Start your journey together! Apply now.
