At five and a half years old, he boasts a beautiful merle coat and a big smile that draws compliments wherever he goes. Ranger has a calm demeanor, perfect for lounging on the couch or napping with you. While he has the energy for play when it's time, he’s just as content to chill out. Ranger is completely house trained and knows his basic commands. He walks well on a leash, though he's still refining his loose leash skills. Living with three large dogs has made him well-adjusted and polite, and he interacts respectfully with older kids, although his 75-pound frame might be too much for small children. His love for food, particularly people food, means he’s still learning his table manners, but his food motivation makes training a breeze. Though he doesn’t require medication, Ranger has a special dietary need to prevent bladder stones, needing food that’s both low in protein and sodium.
