About Logan

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Logan is a 3-year-old, large mixed-breed German Shepherd Dog and Siberian Husky with a striking black medium coat, who recently found himself needing a second chance. Once frightened and withdrawn, Logan has shown incredible resilience and courage thanks to patient foster care, and he's grown into a loving, playful companion. While his transition included some nervous moments, he quickly warmed up in a foster home and is now eager to be by his people’s side—including offering lots of cuddles (sometimes a little too enthusiastically)! Logan’s high energy thrives in active households with opportunities for play, exercise, and engagement. He’s playful with both large and small dogs, enjoys his crate, and is extremely affectionate. Though he’s still perfecting his manners involving counter surfing, leash pulling, and marking, Logan is treat-motivated and responds well to gentle guidance. He does become shy initially, but his willingness to bond shines through as he settles into his environment. Logan would be happiest in a home ready for his energy, with older, dog-savvy kids, and potentially other playful pups to keep him company. He hasn’t been tested with cats and is still learning about car rides—but once he's in, he settles down well as a passenger. Currently in boarding and seeking a loving foster or forever home, Logan is excited to meet someone who appreciates his big heart and dynamic spirit. Ready to make a difference for a deserving pup? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
