AvailableFenris is a playful, young male mixed breed, combining Siberian Husky and German Shepherd Dog, currently at AZ Husky Rescue. He sports a lovely white and cream medium-length coat and falls within the medium size range. Fenris is house trained with the help of a doggy door, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He does not have special needs. This energetic and social boy is looking for a loving, active family who appreciates his zest for life and is ready to help him refine his manners.
About Fenris
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Fenris! This energetic, goofy guy came from a stressful shelter environment and is now thriving in foster care. Fenris is a joyful Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog mix with typical husky energy and a love for play. He immediately made friends with the household dogs, learning their cues and showing off his cheerful, playful nature. He’s house trained using a doggy door, though may have occasional accidents if it’s not available. Fenris still has some puppy behaviors—like counter surfing, chewing on things that aren’t toys, and jumping up—but responds nicely to correction and is eager to please. His favorite things include fetch, walks, belly rubs, and snuggles, showing just how much he loves people. Fenris is looking for an active home where he can burn off that young-dog energy. A dog-savvy family, especially one who isn’t away for long hours, will be best, as he’s not fond of being crated and can get anxious when left alone. Older children (ages 7+) are recommended, and while Fenris loves canine playmates—preferably larger, playful dogs—he is best in a home without cats. Fenris will thrive with ongoing training, plenty of play, and lots of love from his forever family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
