11/3/25: Myers came to us recently from KY when his owners couldn't care for the number of dogs they had. Turned in to a shelter with his mom and siblings, he was pulled by rescue and placed into foster until transport to NY could be arranged. This sweet boy is ~8 months old and 10# so he will likely stay under 15# full grown. He is very sweet, very playful and just wants a family to call his own, maybe yours? If you're looking for a social butterfly of a pup who will stay a great size for traveling, Myers may be the one for you! Due to his size, age and temperament, foster to adopt requirements are: -Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY. -Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered. -Being able to bring him back to our vets office in Adams if additional care will be needed prior to adoption. After adoption, we recommend taking them to your current vet to be established. -Myers is acclimated to likesized dogs as well as cats so he should do well with both in the home. -Adult homes or homes with children over 5 years old should be fine since Myers is the most outgoing of the group. -Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match. -Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet. An adoption donation of $500 is being asked if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free.
