About Frannie

Frannie is a senior red Chihuahua and part of a bonded duo needing either a foster or a foster-to-adopt home within 80 miles of Adams, NY. She and her buddy Muffin were left homeless after their previous owner lost housing. At around 10 years old and about 7 pounds, Frannie is on the shy side but remains gentle and non-aggressive. She'll need dental work and to be spayed before final adoption. These two have already had a vet check and are up to date on their vaccines and preventatives. The rescue prefers homes with adults or families whose children are over eight years old, and they ask for a commitment to continued veterinary care and in-person meet-and-greets. Frannie is house trained and socializes well given time, though she may need a little patience with her reserved personality. Both dogs should be adopted together. You don’t have to pay a fee to foster, but there’s a $500 adoption fee for the pair if you choose to make them permanent family members. All adoptions are local only and require visits with the entire household—no shipping or remote arrangements. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
