About Harrison

Harrison is a resilient young dog who came to PACC dealing with the impacts of severe valley fever. Currently healing in a nurturing foster home, he's shown a remarkable spirit. Despite his physical challenges, he walks primarily on his two front legs, occasionally using one of his back legs for balance. Harrison enjoys the simple pleasures of life, especially his squeaky toys, which he loves to chew apart. While he's friendly with other dogs, playing happily with a female pitbull at his foster home, he tends to be a bit rough and mouthy, something they are working on together. He isn’t too fond of cats, displaying reactivity when they play, so it's best to keep them separated for now. Harrison does well in his crate but should not be left alone for too long as he has a tendency to chew on belongings when unsupervised. Although he sometimes has accidents indoors, this might be linked to his medications. This affectionate boy craves companionship, sticking close to his humans and is especially gentle with his 85-year-old foster mom. While he can't jump up due to his condition, Harrison enjoys our company. He could thrive in a home willing to continue his care and shower him with love. Click apply to start the adoption process.
