Maisie (formerly Jules) is set to arrive 11/14 age around 7, 38lbs Female Shelter notes: Jules approached the kennel door with a friendly demeanor. I was able to pet her face, neck, ears, chest, back, and belly. She allowed me to leash her, but she did not walk on the leash. She took treats from my hands and allowed me to carry her. She is a calm dog who likes head pats and treats. When leaving her kennel, she did not attempt to escape and did not bark at me. 10/26 : Jules did well in playgroups. She allowed leashing and walked well on the leash. In the catch pen, she allowed handling and greeted well through the fence. She showed no signs of barrier aggression or resource guarding. In the play yard, she continued greeting well and allowed everyone to approach her. She did not engage in play and spent her time investigating the yard; her play style is gentle & dainty. She got along with both males and females. When testing her steering, she responded well to the handler's tools, took corrections well, and was respectful of the gate boundaries.
