AvailableJasper is a male, medium-sized mixed breed (Husky/Border Collie) who is around 1.5 years old. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. About Jasper
Jasper is about a year and a half old and faces the world with a unique perspective—he’s mostly blind and has a neurological condition that makes thinking clearly a challenge. Still, he’s an active, fun-loving boy who thrives on playing and being the center of attention. Jasper navigates his environment by following shadows, managing to avoid obstacles with surprising skill. He is house trained when he can get outside in time, but if not, he’ll have an accident indoors—his special needs mean some ongoing patience and flexibility are a must. Playtime for Jasper means rough mouthing rather than gentle play, so he shouldn’t be around other pets or young kids, as his lack of bite inhibition can be a problem. He does best as the only animal in the home. Multiple vets and trainers have worked with him, and he is who he is, but a dedicated, understanding person could still help him learn and flourish. Jasper is waiting for someone special who can give him a loving, structured home and meet him exactly where he’s at. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Jasper
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Jasper, as a Husky and Border Collie mix, typically thrives in a home with plenty of structure, patience, and minimal chaos. For him, a quiet home without other pets is vital due to his special needs.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Husky and Border Collie mixes like Jasper are active by nature, but his sensory and cognitive challenges mean he needs a secure, fully fenced area to explore safely. A decent yard or regular supervised walks are best.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While many Husky/Border Collie mixes can do well with kids, Jasper’s mouthy play style and lack of bite inhibition mean he isn’t suited for homes with children.
