Hello there, my name is Wishbone. I came to the shelter as a stray with two other dogs, not much is known about my history. I am very nervous at the shelter and would do best in a quiet, calm home with a lot of patience and love. A home without small children would likely be best because I need people who can go really slowly with me and respect my boundaries while I adjust to a new environment. She is very sweet and kind, but she can be quite scared and nervous around some people (sometimes she growls or shows her teeth, but she hasn’t attempted to bite anyone). She takes a little while to warm up to you, but once she warms up, she will become your little shadow! Wishbone likes other dogs and would greatly benefit from another dog in the household. She is partially housetrained, meaning she doesn’t poop inside. Wishbone likes to lick your fingers and legs! Sometimes, she wants to be as close to you as possible without touching.
