About Max
Meet Max! This charming 5.2-pound senior chihuahua is looking for a kind and quiet home. Estimated to be around 5 years old, Max is full of life. He adores snuggling and has a knack for finding the coziest spot to sit. Fetch is his favorite game, and he plays until he wears himself out. Despite being a bit spry and "fox-like" for his age, Max is a gentle soul who does well with other dogs, cats, and older kids as long as they aren't overly loud. With his small size comes a bit of nervousness. He's sensitive to loud noises like cars and sudden sounds. Max can be a shadow, always seeking love and attention. He experiences separation anxiety and prefers to sleep under the covers at your feet rather than alone. Though he can be vocal, he’s noted to be relatively quiet for his breed. He might nip if anxious, so a home with children over 10 would be ideal. Max enjoys outings, is housebroken, and is getting the hang of leash training, but he’ll need some encouragement during walks. A fenced yard is essential, and he'd rather have company outside than be alone. Max is neutered, current on vaccinations, and up-to-date on heartworm preventative. He’s also due for a dental. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who will thrive in a home where someone is around often, Max could be the perfect fit. Your new best friend is just one click away.
