About Kenji

Kenji is a six-year-old Shiba Inu on the lookout for his forever home. This gentle soul loves to cuddle and gets along well with kids. He was surrendered due to separation anxiety but is making excellent strides in his foster care. He’s learning to feel comfortable in his kennel, needing a sturdy plastic one to prevent escape attempts. While he does well left loose, he’s currently required to be kenneled in his foster home. Kenji enjoys the company of other dogs but cannot be placed with unaltered adult males at this time, a restriction that may lessen after he’s fully neutered. Although he occasionally marks indoors, using a belly band has been helpful. With time and patience, Kenji is likely to continue improving. He needs someone willing to support him as he adjusts and works through his anxieties. He has so much love to give and just needs the right environment to flourish. Ready to fall in love?
