Morgan is a friendly young dog who absolutely loves being around people. He leans in for hugs and welcomes every new person he meets with excitement, though his jumping might be a bit much for younger kids. Older children could do well with him, especially if introduced properly. His playful spirit has made him a good match with my female English Setter, even if she prefers a quieter life. However, he’s selective with other dogs, occasionally barking at those he doesn’t know, and he may be best suited as the only dog in the home due to his high prey drive. Cats are not a good match for him. On the training front, Morgan is making excellent progress with house training and has quickly adapted to our daily routine, with only a couple of accidents since he arrived. He's eager to learn commands and enjoys the mental challenge that training provides. Walking him requires some work due to his tendency to pull on the leash. He thrives on physical exercise, so access to a securely fenced area is crucial. A six-foot non-climbable fence is necessary for him as he displays escape artist tendencies. Morgan's story includes overcoming a tough past, having once suffered trauma to his jaw, which has only added to his charm. He is neutered, microchipped, and has a solid health foundation despite his history. He needs a patient and understanding adopter who can help him continue to thrive.
