PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION WINNIE IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR DES MOINES, IOWA. Winnie is an approximately 9-month-old Goldendoodle/Great Dane mix who came to us as an owner surrender along with her sisters. She is now settling into foster care and getting the chance to learn what life in a new home is all about. Winnie is a sweet girl who loves plush toys and is eager to learn. She can be sensitive to loud noises and loud talking, so she will do best with a patient family that can give her time to build confidence and adjust at her own pace. Winnie is currently working on potty training, crate training, and leash skills. She is also learning her name and beginning to work on basic commands like “sit” and “come.” She is still very new to foster care, so her foster is taking introductions slowly and continuing to learn more about her personality each day. Winnie is looking for a family willing to continue her training with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She is still young and growing, so she will benefit from a home prepared for a large-breed dog and all the training and activity that comes with that. Winnie will be spayed before adoption and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450. If you’re interested in giving Winnie the forever home she deserves, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering adoption!
