Cleo is a large female Akita/German Shepherd mix around 5-6 years old. She has a short coat that is a beautiful combination of black and white or cream. Cleo is house trained and spayed, and she's up-to-date on vaccinations. She currently resides in Dysart, IA and has a warm and loving presence.

About Cleo

Cleo is a delightful 5-6 year-old Akita/German Shepherd mix, originally found as a stray in Texas. Now in Iowa, she’s being fostered near Cedar Rapids where her true personality has shone through. Sweet and affectionate, Cleo craves companionship and loves to cuddle with her people. This easy-going girl enjoys treats, naps, and curling up for quiet moments. Cleo is house trained and adapts well to being left in the home. However, she is not crate trained, as she's clever enough to escape, so a kennel-free environment would be ideal. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children alike. On walks, Cleo is excellent on the leash and responds well to her name. While she is currently heartworm positive, she is undergoing treatment and is on her way to recovery. Cleo is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
