About Ginger
Ginger is a wonderful young girl currently in foster care near Iowa City, Iowa. She was rescued as a stray from Oklahoma while pregnant and did an incredible job raising her puppies. Now it's her turn to find a loving forever home. Initially, Ginger can be a bit shy, particularly around new people or in unfamiliar situations. However, once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into a devoted and affectionate companion. She is happiest when she is by your side and thrives on the close bond she forges with her trusted humans. Potty trained and crate trained, Ginger walks well on a leash. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. Training may take some patience as she is still working on her confidence; encouragement and positive reinforcement are key. Ginger also has a history of an old leg injury, which has healed but requires ongoing physical therapy, including hydrotherapy, to enhance her strength and mobility. Her future family will need to continue this supportive care. Despite the challenges, Ginger enjoys life and has the spirit of a true companion. She seeks a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. If given space to adjust, Ginger will reward you with unwavering loyalty and love. Ginger is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and her adoption fee is $450. If you think you can provide the loving home she needs, please consider filling out an adoption application. She deserves a chance at a happy future!
