About Rita

Meet Rita, your new favorite little gremlin! This charming blend of Pug and Chihuahua, about 5 to 6 years old, is looking for a forever home where she can truly be spoiled. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Rita has had a tough start in life and has spent much of it caring for puppies. Now, it’s her turn to be the center of attention. Rita is a bit timid around new people, but with a little patience and love, she reveals herself to be an incredibly affectionate companion. Her favorite activities include claiming cozy spots on your lap, snuggling as close to you as possible, burrowing under blankets like a tiny gremlin, and soaking up all the love she’s been missing. She’s both leash and crate trained and is currently doing well with potty training. Spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, she’s ready for her forever home. Rita would thrive as an only pet or with another laid-back dog who respects her chill lifestyle; she isn’t keen on hyper play or young kids. Could you be the one to give her the happily ever after she deserves? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
