This young Pit Bull Terrier mix has already seen her brother find his happy ending, and now she’s ready for her own. Rescued alongside her brother while wandering a highway, Nala has lived in a kennel at a veterinary clinic for months. Though she’s safe and cared for, it’s no replacement for a loving home filled with affection, adventures, and couch cuddles. She craves a yard to explore and people who will shower her with love. While she is still learning her manners, Nala's excitement shines through when she meets new people. She has shown she can get along with other dogs, making a compatible canine friend a great choice. However, her interest in chasing cats suggests a cat-free environment is best. Nala has kept her living space clean, indicating good potty training habits, but she will need some time to adjust to family life. She has also been good with children, though she hasn't had direct experience with them yet. After waiting so long, Nala deserves a patient and loving family who can help her grow into the amazing companion she’s meant to be.
