About Sweet Pea
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Sweet Pea is a beautiful brindle Pit Bull Terrier mix, estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old, who has blossomed from a stray into a sweet and gentle companion. Since coming into care in December 2024, she has demonstrated a warm, affectionate nature—and despite her beginnings, her gentle soul shines through in every interaction. Sweet Pea is quick to make friends with everyone she meets and creates an immediate sense of calm in the home. She is described as quiet and agreeable, with a demeanor that’s both friendly and easygoing with people, whether they are familiar faces or new ones. While Sweet Pea tends to be aloof with other dogs and hasn’t had much experience with cats or small mammals, she’s eager to please and is happiest in an environment with confident guidance and kindness. This sweet girl has also made impressive health strides—her previous skin troubles are nearly healed, her bloodwork is excellent, and she adores cuddles throughout the day. Her special trait? Her teeth chatter with excitement when she’s happy! Sweet Pea’s routine includes three meals each day, soon to be adjusted to two as she continues to reach her healthiest weight. She’s house trained, does well on a leash, and is crate trained (though sometimes a little shy about going in). She continues to gain confidence with guidance when it comes to new experiences like car rides, stairs, or bath time. Most importantly, Sweet Pea loves spending time indoors where she feels comfortable and warm, making her a great fit for anyone seeking a companion who will thrive best as a beloved member of the family. Did you know Sweet Pea is an Aquarius? Aquarians are known for their unique quirks and friendly, loving natures—just like her. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
