About Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea lives up to her name in every way. After being found as a stray in 2024, she quickly revealed herself to be affectionate and gentle, always happy to curl up beside someone she trusts. She’s eager to please and thrives on cuddles, making her easy to love. Around people, she’s both calm and friendly—a steady presence who values quiet moments just as much as time exploring on walks. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, although she may need a bit of encouragement to settle in new spaces. Leash walks come naturally to her, and her easygoing demeanor makes her adaptable to different routines. While Sweet Pea tends to be aloof with other dogs, she can do well with a confident dog companion who helps her feel secure. She hasn’t spent much time around cats or small animals, so continued, careful introductions would be needed. Her skin issues are healing nicely, and her vet gives her a clean bill of health. Endearing quirks like teeth chattering when excited show her unique character, and her dislike for cold weather means she much prefers staying cozy indoors, close to her family. Sweet Pea is looking for a home where she can be an active family member, living indoors and soaking up love, patience, and guidance. In return, she’ll offer gentle loyalty and steady companionship.
