About Professor Knox
Meet Professor Knox, a strikingly beautiful Doberman with a heart full of hope. When you encounter him, you instantly feel his eagerness to learn and grow. Born on Christmas Day in 2025, Knox started his life with high expectations; however, things went off course in his first adoptive home. A kind couple took him in but soon realized they couldn’t meet the needs of such a smart and energetic breed. They knew he deserved better and sought help from Critter Cavalry Rescue to find him the right forever home. This 70-pound, 10-month-old boy requires an experienced owner who understands Doberman traits and energy. Professor Knox is incredibly sweet and shows no signs of aggression or fear. He enjoys the company of cats and currently shares his home with one. However, he longs for a youthful dog companion to play with, as the current dogs are older and less active. Knox is housebroken, crate trained, and skilled with a doggie door. While he has a protective instinct, standing between unfamiliar visitors and his owner, he is primarily a lover, not a fighter. Training will be beneficial, especially for leash manners, as he is still learning. If you have a fenced yard, the time, and the dedication to help Knox shine, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue. He’s ready for the next chapter of his journey and deserves a family that understands and cherishes him. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
