About Diesel

Meet Diesel, a spirited almost two-year-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix in San Bernardino, CA. His tan coat and dark muzzle highlight his playful nature and infectious enthusiasm for making new friends. At around 75 pounds, Diesel embodies the lively spirit of a large dog ready to embrace every new day. He loves playing with his red bone squeaky toy and can often be found engaging in a game of tug of war. Diesel’s loyalty and protective instincts shine through, making him a great companion for an active family. While he is extremely friendly with people, his exuberance can sometimes lead to jumping and excited nipping, so an experienced adopter is essential. Ideally, he needs someone who can focus on training and provide the physical and mental stimulation he craves. Diesel knows basic commands like 'stay' but is eager to learn even more. This clever canine has shown his creativity by digging around the yard, so a secure fenced area is necessary for him to explore safely. Currently, his house-training is in progress, requiring regular outdoor trips and structured walks. He is fine alone for short periods, but long stretches can be tricky, especially with loud noises like fireworks. Diesel has been friendly with other dogs, including a small dog and a neighbor’s Pitbull, but compatibility with children hasn’t been tested yet. A cat-free home is preferred. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, Diesel is ready for an active lifestyle with someone who can channel his energy into fun adventures. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, Diesel could be your perfect match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
