About Leo
Leo is ready for a stable home after some recent changes in his life. Weighing about 18 lbs and estimated to be around 6 to 7 years old, he exudes confidence and friendliness towards both dogs and people of all ages. At a recent adoption event, Leo was calm and engaged, showing little interest in cats. He enjoys belly rubs and walks well on a leash, embodying a happy-go-lucky spirit. While Leo lets his owners know when he needs to go outside, he's still learning to manage a tendency to mark. He had a minor incident where he nipped when vying for attention, so a home without young children is recommended due to potential resource guarding behavior. Please note that we adopt within a 2-hour radius of the Tri-County area, with exceptions made for seniors or difficult-to-place dogs. An adoption fee covers all vetting, including neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and any necessary medical care. To see Leo, an approved application is needed, and we aim to accommodate visits but can't guarantee attendance without application approval. Click apply to start the adoption process.
