About Maxwell
Maxwell is a happy, easygoing coonhound mix, estimated around 1-2 years old and sporting a classic black and tan coat. He was picked up as a stray but has quickly shown a love for people of all ages and just about any toy you toss his way. If you have a pool, expect Maxwell to turn into a splashing, wagging ball of energy—he could play for hours. He’s dog-friendly and fits in naturally around other pups. Maxwell is crate trained and making steady progress with his potty training. Adopters must be located within a two-hour radius of the TriCounty area, though exceptions may be considered for seniors or harder-to-place dogs. A vet reference is required if you’re interested and don’t already have an animal under three years old or with medical needs. Adoption events take place on Saturdays. Maxwell will need to be requested in advance if you want to meet him, as not all dogs attend every event. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
