About Arthur
Meet Arthur! This 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix has a big personality and an even bigger heart. Currently located in Houston, Texas, Arthur is ready to find a forever home. Arthur is the perfect mix of playful adventure buddy and affectionate cuddle companion. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with his humans. While he’s outgoing and curious, he also knows how to read social cues during playtime with dogs of all sizes, interacting well with both larger and smaller pups. Arthur has been around cats and even pot-bellied pigs without showing any aggression, showcasing his gentle nature. This loving boy is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and he loves car rides—mention "car ride," and he’s all ears! Although he might be a bit rambunctious during playtime, he doesn't jump on people, but due to his size, he could accidentally knock over small children. Therefore, a family that understands his energetic spirit is essential. Arthur does best with regular exercise and structure in a home where he can be included in daily adventures. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will happily accompany you on outings and love curling up at your feet afterward, Arthur might just be the perfect addition to your family.
