About Kira

Meet Kira! Kira weighs in at about 7-8 lbs and is an estimated 1 to 1.5 years old. This mini schnauzer, possibly mixed with a little Yorkie, is both charming and portable, ideal for snuggling into a bag. We don’t often see schnauzers in our rescue, making Kira a rare find. Currently in a foster home with several dogs, Kira gets along well with them all. She’s also been friendly with every human she has encountered. While we haven't yet seen how she interacts with young children, her gentle personality suggests she would likely be just fine. Kira was originally purchased from a breeder but was surrendered to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Now, she’s ready to embrace a loving home that treats her as she deserves. Kira is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for both fecal and heartworm. Kira is in Puerto Rico and ready for her journey to her forever home. We can transport her in cabin to many major airports, making it easy to welcome her into your family. If you have any questions or would like to know more about adopting Kira, feel free to reach out to us!
