About Mochi

Mochi is a young Miniature Schnauzer mix and a recent arrival at our shelter. He came to us as a stray alongside his buddy, Miso, and is eager to find a loving home that provides the attention he craves. This sweet boy possesses a delightful personality, and he would do best in a calm and quiet environment where he can soak up the love. Mochi does have a high prey drive, so a cat-free home is essential. His compatibility with other dogs isn’t yet clear, making slow introductions and a proper assessment very important. With his typical Schnauzer mix coat, he’ll need regular grooming to keep him looking sharp. Ready to meet Mochi? Visit Dessin Animal Shelter in Honesdale, PA. We're open every day from 12–3, no appointment needed.
