Nala is a sweet, young Pit Bull Terrier mix who has spent far too long waiting for her forever home. Since March, she has watched other dogs leave the kennel where she stays, while she yearns for a family of her own. Found abandoned on the highway with her brother, Nala's sibling has found his happy ending, but she remains hopeful. She's currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, ready to embark on her next chapter. This affectionate girl has a playful spirit and is eager to learn and grow. Nala has shown that she can get along with other dogs, making her an ideal companion for a home with a friendly canine buddy. However, she does have a strong interest in chasing cats, so it’s best if her new home is cat-free. Nala is house trained and is eager to impress her new humans with her manners. She thrives on interaction and loves to greet with excited jumps once she feels comfortable. As she patiently waits for her chance to belong, she doesn't need perfection; just a loving family willing to give her the time and patience she needs.
