About Maisie

Maisie is a 4 to 5-year-old Doberman with a resilient spirit. After recovering from serious injuries, including several surgeries, she's adapted remarkably well, though she holds her right hind leg up out of habit. Don't let that fool you โ€” it doesn't slow her down while playing or moving about. This affectionate girl loves to cuddle and sometimes forgets just how strong she is, often jumping into your lap for some love. Maisie is friendly, especially with kids, and she forms a close bond with her favorite person, creating a safe space for herself. Sheโ€™s house-trained and responds well to commands, motivated by treats and a desire to please. Though she plays nicely with other dogs, she can be protective of her leg, so she needs an understanding companion. Maisie does best in a home with a kennel where she feels secure, especially when sheโ€™s tired or unsure. While she enjoys lounging in the sun and has a strong prey drive, she isnโ€™t fond of cold or rainy weather. A fenced yard would be ideal for her to bask in the outdoors. This sweet girl is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find her forever home. Are you the one? Click apply to start the adoption process.
