About Audrey and Betty
Audrey and Betty are two gentle souls in need of a caring human. Rescued from a harsh past in South Mississippi, these sweet girls have shown remarkable resilience despite their trauma. They spent too long confined in a cramped, squalid kennel, but now they are learning to trust and embrace a life filled with love. These girls are still a bit timid, especially around leashes, but with kindness and patience, they're discovering that the world can be a safe place. They thrive on gentle reassurance and are making wonderful progress. Fully vaccinated and spayed, they are surprisingly heartworm negative. They enjoy splashing around in a wading pool and chasing balls, often bringing them back! It's important to note that they can be adept jumpers, so a secure yard is essential. While they get along great with other dogs and cats, they may do even better apart. Their current caregivers have set up virtual Meet 'n Greets for prospective adopters. Experience with dogs is preferable, as they need a dedicated and understanding owner. If you're ready to open your heart and home to these remarkable girls, take the first step today. Each of them deserves a loving family to call their own.
