About Danny
Meet Danny! If you're searching for a best buddy with a goofy grin, long legs, and a heart open to adventure, Danny is excited to introduce himself. This charming Black Labrador and Hound mix—born at the end of March 2026—currently weighs about 25 pounds. He’s got those long legs still growing and oversized puppy feet, which means he’ll turn into a seriously handsome guy as he matures. With his white-tipped paws, a little splash of white on his chest, and a tiny halo of white around his muzzle, Danny has marked himself as an adorable companion. Danny came to us from a public shelter in Vernon Parish, where his time was running short. Thankfully, a caring foster stepped up just in time, giving him a chance to ride to freedom with Take Paws Rescue. He now enjoys life with his brothers, Dr. Beeper and Al, and his future looks bright. Danny is a friendly, goofy pup who can’t wait to trade in his shelter days for walks in the neighborhood, park playdates, and outdoor adventures with a loving family. His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he’s eager to explore everything. Now fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready for his next chapter, all Danny needs is someone to show him just how wonderful life can be. If you're ready for a loving companion who is excited to share adventures and fill your days with joy, come meet Danny. His freedom ride was just the beginning of his journey to your heart.
