About Cherie
Meet Cherie! This 1.5-year-old, 12-pound Pekingese mix is a delightful blend of cuteness and sweetness, capable of making anyone feel cherished. Found as a stray, Cherie has fully embraced the comforts of her foster home, discovering cozy beds, friendly faces, and the joy of snuggling up to her favorite humans. Cherie is snuggly and absolutely loves to cuddle, often finding her way into laps or curling up beside you on the couch. At bedtime, she prefers human company and has no interest in kennels; she’s a dedicated little bed buddy who enjoys being near her people. Despite her love for relaxation, Cherie is playful and enjoys engaging with toys, often ready for a lively game of fetch. She gets along beautifully with dogs in her foster home and has even met a cat, approaching her feline friend with cautious curiosity rather than aggression. Her heartworm status is negative, and while she’s mastering her house-training skills, Cherie is still unaltered. Her new family should be prepared for additional vetting needs, but Take Paws will coordinate all that. With love and patience, this bright little girl is set to flourish. Cherie’s charm lies not only in her adorable appearance but in her genuine affection for those around her. She's eager to find a forever family that will continue to provide the love she craves. Come meet Cherie and see if you’re ready to welcome this sweet girl into your heart and home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
