About Djinn Mountain Home
Djinn Mountain Home is a young male Jack Russell Terrier, around two years old, seeking a super experienced adopter. He came from a multidog hoarding situation in central Idaho, where he was kept confined and not socialized. This has led to some challenges; he's learned to fence run and can be easily startled, so he thrives in a calm environment. Weighing about 14 pounds, Djinn is small, highly affectionate, and has formed a strong bond with his foster human(s). To help him blossom, he needs a patient owner willing to work on his socialization. He would do best as the only dog, with perhaps one understanding calm female dog around his size as a companion. Djinn does exhibit food guarding behaviors and should be fed separately. Currently, he is not house trained and requires a belly band indoors. Be mindful of leaving items within reach as he might chew on them. Djinn is crate trained and enjoys chew toys, but he can get car sick, so short rides might be a challenge. Given the right environment, Djinn can mature into a wonderful companion. He needs a dedicated home free from cats, small children, or tiny furry animals. DJinn is available for adoption in Clatskanie, Oregon, with a fee of $200. Think you can help him grow? Click apply to start the adoption process.
