About Nova
Nova found her way to the rescue as a stray in the Fresno area. After being picked up, she required some care due to being covered in ticks. Her finder believes she’s a Jack Russell Terrier mix, weighing in at 14 pounds. Now about 3 to 4 years old, she has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and treated as a precaution for tick-borne illness, testing negative for anything serious, including heartworm. She's also microchipped. This little dynamo is friendly with everyone, has happily lived with older children, and gets along well with dogs her size. Nova shows a keen interest in birds and squirrels, and she thrives on play—enjoying ball games and demolishing her toys. Highly food-driven, she learns quickly, making her teachable and eager to please. Riding in the car is another of her favorite activities. Though she is not house trained yet, Nova has spent time in an outdoor enclosure and has been crated indoors. Her foster mom believes that with her intelligence and willingness, she'll grasp house manners in no time. Nova is currently fostered in Fresno, California, but transport options to the west coast could be arranged for the right match. Her adoption fee is $200. Ready to make Nova a part of your family?
