About Penelope
Penelope, known as Penny, is a charming broken-coated female Jack Russell Terrier, about 5 years old. She sports a beautiful coat of white and tan and weighs a healthy 25 pounds. Currently spayed and vaccinated, she even comes with a health insurance plan thatโs covered until the end of 2026. Found as a stray, Penny's history is somewhat of a mystery, but she has quickly shown herself to be quite house trained. She does get a bit anxious when it comes to car rides and venturing too far from her safe space. Although she can display some minor resource-guarding behaviors typical of terriers, she is friendly with people she meets and tends to ignore other dogs. Loud noises really unsettle her, so a calm environment will suit her best. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced adopter familiar with terriers, who can provide Penny with the life she deserves. Located in northern California, Penny is open to transport. Her adoption fee is currently waived, making it an even better time to bring her home! Click apply to start the adoption process.
