Pimento is a small, three-year-old male Chihuahua mix currently in Phoenix, AZ. He has a short coat and is altered, with up-to-date vaccinations. He is house trained, weighs around 20 pounds, and is friendly with other small dogs but would do best in a home without small children.

About Pimento

Meet Pimento, a charming three-year-old male Chihuahua mix. Weighing in at about 20 pounds, he came to Frosted Faces shelter as part of a rescue involving twenty-five dogs from a hoarding situation. While he started off quite fearful, Pimento has made impressive strides in overcoming his shyness. He loves attention from those he trusts and will allow you to hold him after you’ve built a bond. His favorite activities include playing with squeaky toys and gnawing on chew bones. Pimento is looking for a patient and secure home that can give him the time he needs to adjust. He may feel nervous in a new environment, so a home without small children would be ideal. He does get along well with other small dogs, as seen with his kennel mate, Olive, but we don’t yet know how he feels about large dogs or cats. If you’re ready to help a shy dog blossom and enjoy a rewarding project, Pimento would love to meet you. His adoption fee is sponsored, covering his neuter surgery and vaccinations. Reach out to Chi Town Rescue to connect with the Frosted Faces shelter for a meet-and-greet. Ready to help Pimento find his forever home?
